Sunday Yankee: Hoping to appeal…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  Twin Appeal, (1350 York), 1pt win, 8/1:

it’s been a while since he won on turf, but that win in the Spring of last year was off a full stone higher in the weights.  He has looked off colour, but a stable change looked to have sweetened him up last time, and if that can prompt a return to near his best then he’s thrown in.

Rise Hall, (1420 York), 8/1:  it can pay to leave the handicapper guessing, which this lightly raced 3yo did when winning by 8l in a maiden at Salisbury last time. Graham Lee takes the ride on this strapping son of Frankel and he has the most potential to improve of the field.

Elysees, (1600 York), 6/1:  immediately interesting as a progressive 3yo stepping up in trip.  Won nicely at Sandown and his 7th at Haydock now reads very well. He should enjoy the extra distance.

Wahoo, (1700 York), 8/1:  has an enviable win rate with 3 in the last 5.  Has crept up the weights but has untapped potential for a yard now in flying form.
