Premier League: Handy Andre…

The first Premier League match of the weekend sees Fulham host Watford.

The Cottagers started their first season back in the top league for a number of years slowly, losing at home to Palace and have yet to win away. However, their last game at home saw them score four in beating Burnley.

Watford, by contrast, started sharply, winning their first four games before becoming unstuck against Manchester United last time out.

Still, whatever the results, goals have been fairly consistent in the games involving these sides. We expect this to continue, and given Fulham’s last match at home we’ll take a punt on German international Andre Schurrle to score at anytime.

The second televised match of the day sees Tottenham head south to take on Brighton. This could prove to be a tricky game for the north London giants, as they try to get over the disappointment of defeat on the European stage midweek.

Brighton have already beaten Manchester United at home this season, and showed their tenacity in snatching a draw late on at Southampton last Monday. They did so with the help of their big central defender Shane Duffy, who netted subscribers a hefty 18/1 win with a headed goal.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, Unibet is offering 16/1 that the Irishman scores—much better than the 10/1 widely available—and this is against Spurs, a team that has shown major vulnerability at set pieces. We’ll try again.

Recommendations:

Fulham/Watford: Schurrle to score anytime, 1 pt, at 16/5, Unibet

Brighton/Spurs: Duffy to score anytime, 1 pt, at 16/1, Unibet
