NAP OF THE DAY: Dagian, (1710 Leicester), 1pt win, 6/1 generally available
Not the strongest race on the card, but a chance for Amanda Perrett’s Dagian to augment recent Bath gains. That was only his 6th run, and over this trip he made all to win in unchallenged. Only 5lbs up, and drawn to attack in stall 6, Jim Crowley can set out to make all
Hepijeu, (1650 Huntingdon), 3/1: Is unbeaten since joining the stables of Stuart Edmonds. Can repeat the dose having won well here last time. The extra 7lbs shouldn’t be an issue, and Ciaran Gethings renews the partnership.
Lady Momoka, (1740 Leicester), 7/2: Very lightly raced and making her handicap debut off a mark of 73. This is a step up to her longest trip to date, but she has lovely draw and the excellent Atzeni on the steerings.
Kingsley Klarion, (1745 Kempton), 3/1: Was prolific early his career at this track, but that seems to have tailed off with 25 consecutive losses. But he ran a blinder here last time and is nicely drawn now in a race where there are significant weaknesses in most contenders.
