NFL: Hill will thrill…

The NFL returns to London this week with the Los Angeles Chargers “hosting” the Tennessee Titans in today’s early kick off.

These are both strong franchises but it’s the Chargers who have started to play up to their pre-season hype as play-off contenders.  They have a free-scoring offensive and should register four or more touchdowns today making focal point Melvyn Gordon decent value to score at least twice.

The epitome of free scoring is the Kansas City Chiefs and they host the Cincinnati Bengals in a mouth-watering late kick off  at Arrowhead Stadium.

This is a pivotal test for the Chiefs after their epic last-kick first loss to the Patriots, and with matches against play-off contenders coming thick and fast.

The Bengals are strong on offence so the Chiefs will likely have to win a high scoring duel, which has been their style. Fortunately the Bengals have one of the worst pass defences in the league, and have been particularly vulnerable to extended plays, a speciality of Chiefs wonder-boy QB Patrick Mahomes.

This all adds up to a field day for the fastest man in the NFL, the explosive Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill.  He shredded the Patriots last week, he is a threat on short yardage and a demon going deep.  He scored a hat-trick last week, and whilst those are rare, the Chiefs have such a multi-threat, teams cannot risk double covering Hill.  Skybet’s quote of 40/1 suggests he’ll get another hat-trick once every 2 years, and that’s plain wrong.

Recommendations:

Melvyn Gordon (Chargers) to score two or more touchdowns, 1pt win, 7/2 Paddy Power.

Tyreek Hill (Chiefs) to score a hat-trick, 1pt win, 40/1 Skybet
