There’s only one live game in the Premier League today, West Ham’s evening trip to Leicester.
These teams started the season with hopes of a top six league position, but inconsistency has plagued both. Leicester have won four and lost five of their first nine league games while West Ham have managed just seven points during this period.
Defensive frailties have been behind much of this inconsistency, with West Ham conceding 27 league away goals in 2018, a total only beaten by Leicester, with 30.
With this mind there could be a few goals in this game. We expect quite a few set pieces and this brings English central defender Harry Maguire into the picture. He has scored two already this season and is a danger from every set piece.
Maguire is best priced at 17/2 to be an anytime scorer, but Paddy Power offers an enhanced 16/1 that he scores with his head. We’ll try that.
