PGA Tour: Jordan and Sam pocket aces in Vegas…

The PGA Tour heads to Sin City this week, with the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open played outside Las Vegas in Nevada.

The upper echelons of the betting lists are made up of players from the losing US Ryder Cup team. They may well be seeking some form of redemption against a large but mostly journeyman field.

Tony Finau (1 career pga win) and Rickie Fowler (4 career pga wins) head the market, which is surprising as Bryson DeChambeau (3 pga wins this year) and Jordan Speith (3 major wins) are more regular winners.

Of that bunch it may be worth risking that a nice short break will have helped Speith, a former world number 1, rediscover his putting touch.  He would be stand out value on old form.

For a second pick, we’ll look to the last tournament played on US soil in the PGA Tour for a guide to players in form.

Sam Burns is a young man who added a third last week to a growing CV acquired mixing good pga tour appearances with a win on the Challenge tour.  He looks a name for the future for sure, we’re hoping that future is this Sunday.

Jordan Speith, 1pt win, 12/1 generally available

Sam Burns, 0.5pts each way, 40/1 Unibet (1/5th top 6 places)
