An intriguing set of close match ups this week, but we like value in the mismatches, and we start at Buffalo.
The Buffalo Bills are down to their 4th string QB – most franchises can only afford at most two good QBs and it is arguable whether the Bills even had that to start. It could be a long night hosting the steady Chicago Bears.
The Bears could get a lot of ball, and good field position. Running Back Tarik Cohen offers a dual threat being the Bears’ biggest threat through the air as well. He could have some fun and the 2/1 in the Betfair sportsbook for an anytime touchdown is great value.
We love to back the free flowing Kansas City Chiefs and they can rattle up another score visiting the Cleveland Browns. The Browns sacked their senior coaching staff this week. That’s not good timing as of all the possible opponents the Chiefs demand thorough preparation with their stellar array of attacking options.
The Browns have an excellent pass rush defence, and if they have had a fractured build up then simply rushing the QB as hard as possible makes some sense. That however should open things up for the blistering Tyreek Hill either through quick short dump offs, or if QB Patrick Mahomes uses his elusive skills it can open up the deep play. Hill should have a field day.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: T Cohen (Bears) & T Hill (Chiefs), 1pt win double, 5/1 Betfair sportsbook.
Tyreek Hill (Chiefs) to score a hat-trick Of touchdowns, 1pt win, 45/1 Paddy Power
