It’s only occasionally that we at Lap of the Odds offers up bets that aren’t of the one point variety. But the last few days have seen a couple of two point bets, i.e. bets that we see real value in.
And our subscribers have benefitted as both two point bets suggested have come in.
First up on Saturday, we suggested subscribers bet on a drop goal occurring in the rugby clash between Ireland and New Zealand at a whopping 4/1. (Rugby Union: Dropping for cash…)
And sure enough the match turned out to be a tight affair, prompting Kiwi fly half Beauden Barrett to slot a drop goal in the first half. It didn’t help his side though, as Ireland eventually ran out winners.
The second bet occurred today, as the nap of the day was a two point selection called William H. Bonney in the 1445 at Hereford at 9/4. (Monday Yankee: Where there’s a Will…)
This horse cruised through the race before eventually edging home, to the delight of all concerned.
