NAP OF THE DAY: Oxwick Bay, (1520 Chepstow), 1pt win, 11/4 generally available
Welsh trainer Evan Williams loves to get a few winners at Chepstow, and fires a few shots at the track today. Oxwich Bay may be his best chance after staying on into 4th on his seasonal debut race here. That looked a quality affair and this looks like a better chance to get on the scoresheet.
Solstice Star, (1240 Chepstow ) 7/2 : has a distant course win and went well in his reappearance here. He has Richard Johnson on back up, waiting on a QuickFile double.
Teescomponents Lad, (1350 Hexham), 10/3: just one win from 12 efforts, suggests he maybe a little quirky…but his comeback effort against weak opposition last week was impressive and can be the model for success today.
Erick Le Rouge, (1435 Warwick), 3/1: was a good winner for us on seasonal debut recently and looked to have plenty in hand .
