The World Cup of Golf starts early tomorrow morning at the Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia.
The defending champions are Denmark, but we at Lap of the Odds prefer the chances of the favourites and hosts, Australia.
The Aussie team is made up of Marc Leishman, who won in Malaysia on the PGA Tour just last month, and Cameron Smith, who played very well in the FedEx Cup series just a couple of months ago.
They have home advantage, they are taking the event seriously and the Australian team has won two out of the last three held down under.
The best price for the Aussies is 4/1, which is short in a 28 team event, but we think that price still offers value.
Recommendations: Australia to win, 1 pt, at 4/1, widely available
