Premier League: Expect goals at Vitality

There are two Premier League matches scheduled for today, starting with Arsenal’s visit to the south coast to take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Both sides have stuttered recently – Bournemouth have lost their last two while Arsenal have drawn four of their last five games. That said, both will be pleased with where they stand at this stage of the season – Arsenal are fifth and Bournemouth could rise to sixth with a win.

What you can usually rely on when these sides meet is goals. There have been 23 goals in the matches between these two, an average of 3.3 per game, while Arsenal have never failed to score, netting 17 goals in the process.

We think another goal fest is likely, while having a bias for Arsenal. With this in mind we’ll take advantage of Paddy Power’s same game multi bet option expecting Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette as well as Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson all to score at anytime.

The second game sees Wolves host Huddersfield.

The home side have impressed in their first season in the big time, taking points of the likes of both Manchester clubs and Arsenal to lie comfortably in mid table.

Huddersfield have struggled this season and lie at the foot of the table, but have collected four points from their last two games. Still, we think the home team will be too strong and expect them to win a low scoring encounter.

With that in mind, we’ll take Paddy Power’s enhanced price on Wolves striker Raul Jimenez being the first goal scorer.

Recommendations:

Bournemouth/Arsenal: Aubameyang, Lacazette and Wilson all to score, 1 pt, at 8.9/1, Paddy Power

Wolves/Huddersfield: Jimenez to score first, 1 pt, at 5/1, Paddy Power
