The Champions League resumes tonight, and both Manchester clubs are in action.
Manchester United host Young Boys at Old Trafford and are expected to win after triumphing 3-0 in the reverse fixture. United’s remarkable victory over Juventus in the last round has brought them back into the group, and we don’t think they will slip up tonight.
Striker Marcus Rashford leads the line for United tonight, and we’ll take the young English star to score a couple.
Manchester City have what looks on paper a more difficult task, an away trip to Lyon.
City are making their defence of the Premier League look easy, already two points clear, but the Champions League is trickier. It’s true City only need a point from their next two games to qualify for the knockout stages, but this game won’t be easy. They lost 2-1 to today’s opponents at home and are missing several players.
We’ll take a punt on Lyon to win at 13/2.
Recommendations:
Man Utd/Young Boys: Rashford to score a brace, 1 pt, at 6/1, Paddy Power
Lyon/Man City: Lyon to win, 1 pt, at 13/2, bet365
