Champions League: Spurs look to Eriksen…

The Champions League continues tonight with a couple of tasty games involving English clubs.

Tottenham host Inter Milan at Wembley needing to win to keep their hopes of progressing from the group alive.

Spurs may have lost 2-1 in the reverse fixture in Milan but they played very well for the majority of the match and can count themselves unlucky. They also were impressive in defeating Chelsea over the weekend and we expect them to win tonight.

One of the contributory factor in the recent strong play by Spurs is the return from injury of Christian Eriksen. Paddy Power has an enhanced price that the Dane scores from outside the penalty area, and we’ll try that.

The second game sees Liverpool travel to France to take on Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds need to win tonight after their surprise defeat by Red Star Belgrade last time out in Europe. And they did beat PSG in the reverse fixture, but this may a bridge too far. PSG are unbeaten in their last 20 home group games, winning 15, while Liverpool have lost their two away games in this group.

We’ll take PSG to win with both teams scoring tonight.

Recommendations:

Spurs/Inter Milan: Eriksen to score from outside the area, 1 pt, at 7/1, Paddy Power

PSG/Liverpool: PSG to win with both teams scoring, 1 pt, at 21/10, Paddy Power
