The Premier League weekend starts early tonight, with Wolves travelling to South Wales to take on Cardiff.
The two teams started the season very differently – Wolves impressing on their return to the top flight while Cardiff struggled. This has translated into 11th spot in the league for Wolves and one off the bottom at 19th for Cardiff.
However, recent form has suggested something different. Wolves are winless in five league games while Cardiff have won two of their last five. Seven of Cardiff’s eight points have come at home this season.
We thought Wolves were very disappointing last time out against Huddersfield – they really struggled against the opposition’s high tempo pressing. We think Cardiff could do a similar job on them tonight.
Cardiff are a fairly typical Neil Warnock side who could cause problems at set pieces. With this in mind, we’ll take advantage of Paddy Power’s enhanced price that big central defender Sol Bamba scores with a header.
