There’s a full midweek program in the Premier League this week, with Tuesday’s televised highlight being the clash between Watford and Manchester City.
Watford, the home side, started the season very strongly but have hit a dip of late, losing three of their last four home games. And they now face a side which they have lost to in their last eight matches in all competitions. Tricky!
We don’t think there’s much to fix at Watford, but they are now facing one of Europe’s elite and will likely lose.
Predicting the City side is a little difficult. Manager Pep Guardiola described Saturday’s first half against Bournemouth as flat and he could well make changes, with David Silva among those likely to be recalled.
Silva has scored five league goals in 11 starts this season, roughly an even money shot, but Unibet offers 14/5 on him scoring. A good bet.
Added to this, one of his goals came from a free kick against Huddersfield, a 10/1 shot in this small sample given his 11 starts, yet Paddy Power offers an enhanced 28/1 that he scores from outside the penalty area. We’ll also be aboard.
David Silva to score anytime, 1 pt, at 14/5, Unibet
David Silva to score from outside the penalty area, 1 pt, at 28/1, Paddy Power
