Tuesday Yankee: Whatever next?

Another nice winning nap yesterday as Seaweed (advised 10/3)  followed our script to perfection to gain revenge for his previous defeat.  Can it be a nap hat-trick today?….

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  Luv U Whatever, (1400 Southwell), 1pt win, 9/4 generally available

We are going to reacquaint ourselves with a winning nap from March.  That’s no coincidence as Luv U Whatever is a hugely effective front runner at Southwell when he can dominate.  He is back to a mark of 71 here, 2lbs below his March winning mark.  He wasn’t able to lead at class 4 level last time he was here when third, but back into class 5 and with no obvious pace challengers he is set to prove again that this is his sweet spot.

Danceintothelight, (1210 Catterick), 11/4:  twice a previous winner of this under all-the-way rides from trainer’s daughter Abbie McCain.  Now an 11yo, has been running ok of late, but this is sure to have been the target, and back at his beloved Catterick he can make all yet again.

Angel Palanas, (1330 Southwell), 11/4:  has dominated two 7f handicaps here lately from the front.  Up 6lbs is not a problem, the switch back to 6f possibly the issue as there will be faster horses to take him on. That said he has been flying and the price amply compensates for the risks of the shorter trip.

Jabarout, (1530 Southwell), 5/1:  a lightly raced 3yo with some unusual North American breeding he has been campaigned wisely on all weather.  His attacking style has yielded all the way wins at Wolves and Lingfield.  The surface here is an unknown, but his breeding is a positive, his run style is absolutely ideal, and he is pretty much the only X factor in this field of hairy old regulars.
