NFL : Business end…

It’s squeaky bum time on the NFL benches as the regular season reaches it’s penultimate weekend with Post season berths to play for.

Defenfing champs the Philadelphia Eagles have been drinking in the last Chance saloon for a while now, and may be able to reach last orders by defeating the high flying Houston Texans.

The Carolina Panthers are in mathematically feasible territory but have lost talismanic QB Cam Newton, and that can leave the door open to defeat to the visiting Atlanta Falcons who definitely have January off, but have more talent than that implies.

The Chicago Bears have been a revelation built on a resolute defence and powerful pass rush.  They travel to the disappointing 49ers knowing they need to brush up their road game with a path to the Superbowl likely to route through New Orleans.

Finally, the New Orleans Saints are set for NFC No 1 seeds and host the equally motivated AFC Central leaders the Pittsburgh Steelers.  The Steelers come here off a confidence boosting win over the Pats, but whilst the Saints have lost some buzz in recent weeks, they were road games and they can reestablish their credentials by giving the Steelers a beating here.

Win four-timer :  Eagles, Falcons, Bears & Saints.
