The Champions League returns after its winter break, and for some the competition now looks very different.
Take Manchester United. They qualified second in their group, behind Juventus, and we’re struggling in the league. Their stars looked like they didn’t want to play for the manager and the atmosphere around the club was toxic.
Fast forward a couple of months the manager has changed, the team is winning games, the league position looks more secure and there is a wave of optimism coursing through the club.
They now face PSG with most pundits thinking the tie is in the balance where the French champions had been the overwhelming favourite when the draw was made. Helping that view are injuries to two of PSG’s famed forward line, Neymar and Cavani.
One of the main beneficiaries of United’s change of management has been Paul Pogba. The French star is now playing with the style and confidence that helped his country to World Cup success last summer, and he will be keen to impress his compatriots.
The midfielder has been scoring for fun of late, including twice on the weekend, and we think he offers value today. Unibet offers just over 2/1 that he scores anytime and we think this offers a good hedge on the 18/1 offer than he scores twice.
Recommendations: Pogba to score anytime, 1 pt, at 49/20 and to score twice at 18/1, 1 pt, both Unibet
