Tottenham made it through to the quarterfinals of the Champions League last night, and now can Manchester United follow in their footsteps?
United have a much more difficult task. While Spurs had a 3-0 lead to rely on from the first home leg, United have a 2-0 deficit and have to take on a buoyant PSG team. On top of this, the United side has been decimated by injuries and suspensions.
United have won 13 out of 16 fixtures in all competitions since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as manager in December, but this is a bridge too far, we think. In fact, we think PSG could win this tie easily if they want to.
Leading the line for the French champions is Kylian Mbappe, who has scored seven goals in his last five games, while scoring in each. He was very impressive in the first leg at Old Trafford, and we think he will cause more problems for a depleted United side tonight. We’ll take the 4/1 on offer at Paddy Power that he scores twice.
Recommendations: Mbappe to score a brace, 1 pt, at 4/1, Paddy Power
