Friday Yankee: Reve up for Cheltenham….

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Le Reve, (1540 Sandown), 1pt win, 4/1 generally available

Loves this course and comes here off the back of an enterprisingly ridden all the way success at Lingfield. Only up 5lbs for that, and comes to a course he has run well at many times before. Has one of the more experienced jockeys in this race, and will be dangerous if allowed loose on the lead under these conditions.

Bonne Question, (1430 Sandown), 1/1:  absolutely sluiced in after a long break at Ffos Las last time and a 7lb penalty is still 8lbs below his revised mark effective tomorrow.  Should win this with ease if avoiding the dreaded bounce factor.

Darebin, (1610 Sandown), 3/1:  has course form of 1003314152 and is off the same mark here as when a good second here to a well handicapped stablemate.  Can add to his track record by putting his experience to good use against horses less familiar with this idiosyncratic chase track.

Gleno, (1645 Sandown), 13/8:  Much like Bonne Question, gets to run here off a penalty for his sauntering 15l success at Wincanton.  That 7lb penalty leaves him 8lbs well in against his new rating.  That was good ground but he won on heavy as a bumper horse so should cope with this softer surface.
