The Six Nations returns this weekend, with the first game today seeing Wales traveling north to take on Scotland.
The Welsh arrive fresh from their impressive win over England and will be keen to clinch victory here with a Grand Slam for the winning. Scotland won’t make it easy for them, but they are suffering from injuries to key players and we think the Welsh will eventually grind them down and cover the four point spread.
The second game sees England host Italy at Twickenham. The hosts return home after a chastening defeat in Cardiff, and will be keen to return to winning ways.
England knows the only chance of winning the Six Nations is to win their last two games (with bonus points) and hope Wales lose a game in the process. They beat France convincingly last time at Twickenham and we think they will do the same against Italy, covering the 32 point spread.
Additionally, the English management have regigged their back line, bringing Bath’s Joe Cokanasinga into the fold. We considered the giant winger as the competition’s top try scorer as the start but he wasn’t selected, and then Johnny May scored four! Instead, we’ll take a punt on Cokanasinga scoring a hat trick of tries.
