Premier League: United to silence Emirates…

A number of the Premier League’s elite are playing today, with the main highlight being the trip of Manchester United to the Emirates to face Arsenal.

The Gunners have been very impressive at home this season, winning their last eight league games and being unbeaten in 14.

However, they now take on one of the league’s most in form teams, fresh from a historic triumph in Europe. United are chasing a seventh consecutive away win in the league and are unbeaten in 12 league matches, the longest current run in the top flight. And the team must be buzzing after overcoming PSG in the Champions League midweek.

Arsenal are tough to beat at home, but we still have doubts about their defence and there also seems to be a discipline issue of late – three red cards in five games. United have won their last two visits to the Emirates, and we’ll take them to do so again. The 7/2 on offer that United win with both teams scoring appeals.

Both this, Chelsea host Wolves at Stamford Bridge. The visitors will provide a strong test for the Blues today, having already beaten them at home in early December.

However, Chelsea have beaten Wolves on their last six meetings in all competitions at home and they will be able to recall stars like Eden Hazard and N’golo Kante after they were rested midweek.

Wolves will give Chelsea a game, but the Blues seem to have turned something of s corner after their thrashing at the Etihad. We’ll take Hazard to start the ball rolling with the opening goal.

The opening game sees Liverpool just Burnley, knowing only three points will do after City opened a four point gap at the top of the league with victory over Watford on Saturday.

The pressure is on, but Liverpool have been impressive at home this season. They are currently on a run of 35 games unbeaten in the Premier League at Anfield.

Sadio Mane has been the man of the moment for Liverpool, scoring in each of the last five home games. And we’ll take the 4/1 on offer that he scores first today.
