PGA Tour: García the Great…

The PGA Tour continues its Florida swing, with the Valspar Championship being held at Innisbrook Golf Resort.

The course is undulating and tree-lined, suggesting accuracy rather than length may be key off the tee. Defending champion is Paul Casey, who is not short off the tee but more renowned for his iron play.

With this in mind, we’re going to side with Sergio García. The Spaniard has been playing well of late, without clinching a win. He finished sixth in the WGC Mexico, ninth in the Honda Classic and a little disappointingly 22nd in The Players. He is gearing up for the Masters but we think he has a good chance this week.

Our second selection is Brian Harman. The left handed American played well at The Players, finishing in the top eight, and has the quality to finish second in the 2017 US Open. Not the longest hitter, he needs to putt well to complete, but he showed signs of form last week, and we think he’s now too big a price to ignore.

García to win, 1 pt, at 16/1, widely available

Harman 0.5 pts each way at 100/1, 1/5 the odds for the first eight places, SkyBet
