We have Monday night football to look forward to in the Premier League, as Chelsea entertain West Ham.
Chelsea have been pretty good at home this season – winning 10 out of 16 games in front of their own supporters, losing just once. And they now face a side which has won just four times away from home all season, losing five of their last six.
This suggests a fairly comfortable night for the home team, and they have the incentive of moving into third in the league should they win. The question is how to benefit from this given the bookies make Chelsea strong favourites.
Eden Hazard has had a difficult season. He’s been played out of position as a false no. 9 for long spells and has had to cope with constant speculation as to his future as his team has generally underperformed. However, he scored midweek against Brighton and looked sharp in his usual position as Chelsea put in one of their better recent performances.
We hope he can continue this trend. He’s a short price to score at anytime today, so we’ll take the 100/30 on offer that he scores first.
Recommendations: Hazard to score first, 1 pt, at 100/30, BoyleSports
