Premier League: Harry on the toon…

There is Friday night action in the Premier League this evening, as Leicester host Newcastle at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes have benefitted from the appointment of Brendan Rogers as their new manager in early March, winning five of six games under his reign. And consequently there’s a much more positive atmosphere surrounding the club than was apparent in the late stages of Claude Puel’s reign.

On the other side of the equation Newcastle had done well to pull away from the relegation zone, but one point from their last three games has created jitters again. The defeat at home against Crystal Palace last time out particularly hurt.

We think Leicester will be hard for Newcastle to beat at home.  Club talisman Jamie Vardy looks likely to hit the target but is priced accordingly.

The giant forehead of defending colossus Harry Maguire has been a good friend to us in the past, and he may well be the battering ram to break down the Toon defence having scored against them earlier in the year.  15/2 anytime is tempting, but we’ll try the “go big or go home” first goal scorer option at a much bigger price.
