There are a couple of live games to enjoy in the Premier League today, both involving teams chasing a top four spot and entry into the Champions League.
First up, Huddersfield entertain Manchester United. The hosts have had a difficult season but this is an opportunity to say goodbye to the Premier League in style. That said, they have only picked up four points from their last 23 fixtures, so the home fans can’t be expecting too much.
United need to win their two remaining fixtures to have any chance of qualifying for Europe’s top competition, starting today. They haven’t won in their last four games, but showed promise against Chelsea last time out. We’ll take them to win today, and expect Marcus Rashford to open the scoring.
The second game sees Arsenal take on Brighton at the Emirates. The visitors are now safe from relegation with Cardiff taking the last spot heading south yesterday. That could allow them a degree of freedom today, but their recent form doesn’t bode well. Brighton have won just two of their last 16 league games and none of their last seven.
Arsenal have looked preoccupied with their European run of late, with their league form being pretty desperate. That said, they have to win today and that could focus their minds.
We can see Brighton defending deep and trying to frustrate the Arsenal attacking talent. This could result in long range shooting opportunities for the likes of Granit Xhaka. He has scored three times already this season from range, and the enhanced 18/1 SkyBet offers that he does it again seems a good price.
Huddersfield/Man United: Rashford to score first, 1 pt, at 4/1, SkyBet
Arsenal/Brighton: Xhaka to score from outside the penalty area, 1 pt, at 18/1, SkyBet
