NAP OF THE DAY: Fifty Shades, (1545 Fakenham), 1pt win, 5/2:
The Norfolk National and Little Windmill could lead them a dance if finding a nice rhythm under Bryony Frost. However even he may have to give way to the progressive Fifty Shades whose stamina laden win at Warwick suggested this test could unlock more improvement.
Buckeye Shan, (1430 Ayr), 5/2: has had a pretty undistinguished career for small stables but moved this season to the Bowen yard and his first outing for them was an excellent effort until a hurdle got in the way. Any improvement is likely to mean a winning chance here.
Amazing Grazing, (1520 Wetherby), 4/1: can be an honest trier with fewer wins than he deserves. That said he is also one of the few here with 6f form, and his staying in placing at Musselburgh over 5f last time suggested this test will be more suitable. Has a fair draw and should go close.
Stop The World, (1820 Exeter), 2/1: lightly raced and in the up. His trainer took him all the way to Ayr last time where he ran well beating all bar a well weighted Elliott raider. This looks a lot easier and he can progress again to land the win that’s due.
