The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: Lincoln Tale, (1650 Beverley), 1pt win, 3/1:
Ran a cracking third on handicap debut last time at Wetherby recently. That was over mile and takes a big step up in trip here. Bred to enjoy the extra ground and the stable and jockey remain in flying form so worth risking against a modest field in opposition.
Foxtrot Knight, (1520 Beverley), 5/1: has looked in fine form on two recent defeats, the issue there, and again today, is the likelihood that he’ll lose spots on the break.
Kylie Rules, (1550 Beverley), 7/2: has won here twice this Spring. Probably a bit lucky to only be 11lbs higher after the easy first win was followed by a tidy win here last time. May still have enough in hand to repeat the defeat of Placebo Effect.
Teodora De Vega, (1630 Chepstow), 7/2: this well bred filly makes her handicap debut off a very generous mark of 67. Ran a good third last time, and is likely to improve a lot for that run.
