From looking like a procession for most of the tournament, the US PGA Championship became exciting on the back nine holes as Brooks Koepka threatened to throw away a hefty seven shot lead.
However, subscribers to Lap of the Odds didn’t have to shed a drop of sweat as they had already locked in a payout on this 10/1 shot.
We had suggested that subscribers bet on Koepka and take advantage of Betway’s offer of paying out as a winner any player that led after an individual round. As the American slugger had led after round one (as well as rounds two and three) the money was already heading for the bank before his hiccup. That he won in the end was almost incidental!
Keep tuned in for more betting suggestions as the horse racing classics season gets into full swing and ahead of the cricket World Cup.
