Monday Yankee: Dom the one?

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Dominus, (1940 Windsor), 1pt win, 7/2:

We tipped him up at Ripon recently, but no sooner had the stalls opened than he tipped himself up, unseating his jockey running loose and finishing clear. Had good form leading up to that and meets a track here that suits his prominent running style.

Beverley Bullet, (1530 Carlisle), 9/2: has raced at this track three times, winning each time off 54, 62 and 64. Returns now off 64 in conditions he enjoys having run well in his last two efforts and looks to have a good chance to make it four course wins.

Soloist, (1730 Carlisle), 9/4: a well bred filly, she was expected to leave her maiden form far behind off a mark of 70 on handicap debut. 7th of 11 reads worse than it was as she still looked inexperienced until running on well late in the day. Dropped to a generous 68, upped again in trip, and dropped in class, she can deliver on that promise here.

Fitzrovia (2020 Nottingham ), 6/4: repeatedly met trouble in running at Yarmouth last week, with his saddle eventually slipping, yet still stormed home by 4l. That came from nowhere, but it was only a 5th career run, and with him just 2lb higher in the weights here he must have an outstanding chance of following up.
