Another good nap winner yesterday as confident 2pt pick True Destiny landed a gamble (5/2 into 7/4) in gutsy fashion at York.

NAP OF THE DAY: Theclockisticking, (1605 Uttoxeter), 1pt win, 7/2
A strapping chasing type who has been surprisingly ineffective over fences to date. Had a good season over hurdles and was finally turned back to fences here last time in a valuable race. Looked a contender there until a big blunder knocked him back. May be worth chancing that he can finally put it together over fences and deliver on the promise of his looks.
Benny And The Jets, (1410 Windsor), 2/1: plenty of likely types here but Benny And The Jets was a deeply impressive winner in his first handicap and although raised 8lbs he may still have plenty in hand especially if he improves again for that experience.
Amplify, (1515 Windsor), 5/2: finally won on his 8th start when a cosy winner of a maiden last time. His previous handicap effort at Doncaster can be marked up as that race is working out well. Drops down to 5f here and that can be a good move as he has looked a pacy sort.
Cogital, (1735 Windsor), 6/1: still a maiden after 11 starts but has often promised better. Probably found a mile on firm ground too sharp on seasonal debut and looked like he would run a whole lot better next time over this trip at Sandown. Things didn’t pan out as he was boxed in for the whole straight. Worth chancing that the luck changes for him as he still looks to have a winning profile.
