Kerching !! 6/1 Var lands 3pt horse nap, 13/2 KdB ices the cake…

We are pretty frugal when it comes to investing more than 1pt on our racing naps, occasionally upping to 2pts, and very rarely the full 3 pointer.

Yesterday was our first 3 pointer in a number of months as we concluded a lengthy and careful watch of sprint handicapper Orvar by giving him the rare 3pt distinction.

We were convinced his poor recent placings disguised bad luck rather than bad form, and that he was consequently generously handicapped for a race that looked ideal.

There was barely a moment’s doubt as he eased to a comfortable win that justified our confidence and landed the 3pts at a decent price – 6/1 early, and 10/3 SP, yielding between 10 and 18pts of profit. Hot on the heels of Friday’s 7/1 nap Our Little Pony, this kept up our good Summer run on the horses.

That wasn’t the end of Saturday celebrations for blog subscribers as our blistering start to the new football season also continued with the successful pick of Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne (13/2) as man of the match for the Man City v Spurs game.

That means all 5 of our football blog posts since the start of the season last weekend have yielded profits with 5 winners from 8 selections, and a profit of 20pts.

Stay tuned to see what Sunday brings….
