England continue their campaign to qualify for the European Championships in 2020 this evening with a home game against Bulgaria.
The Three Lions sit on top of Group A with two wins from their opening two fixtures and now face the side lying at the bottom of the group, claiming only two points from their first four games.
This all suggests a comfortable home win, something the bookies have already factored in. Likely forward players – Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling – are all short prices to net today, in fact England captain Kane is just above 2/1 to score twice. We’ll pass.
Instead we’ll look a little further down the side. Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold is likely to start today at right back and could be one of England’s more creative players. Alexander-Arnold has provided 22 assists in his 91 games for Liverpool and is likely to have a lot of space to deliver his crosses today. Additionally he could well be taking corners and some freekicks. Consequently, we’ll take the 11/4 of offer that he assists a goal today.
Recommendation: Alexander-Arnold to assist a goal, 1 pt, at 11/4, SkyBet
