Narrow Saturday disappointment has happily changed to Sunday success a few times this season, we’ll be relying on Hamilton to make good Ayr’s near misses…
The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: Guardia Svizzera, (1430 Hamilton), 1pt win, 10/3:
We are not convinced this is the track for favourite Super Florence. However it is very much ideal for two-time course winner Guardia Svezzera who showed form last time when 3rd of 19 at Thirsk. Progress from that run should be enough.
Autumn Flight, (1400 Hamilton), 3/1: made all to win unchallenged at Carlisle last time. Those tactics often work well at this track and a 4lb penalty may not stop him from following up.
Classic Pursuit, (1500 Hamilton), 6/1: favourite Jeffrey Harris is another who may be better suited by a different track. Classic Pursuit has just the one course run, but that was a fair third for this new stable here recently. Runs before and after have been awful, but that makes for a handy rating and if Hamilton can do the trick then he looks nicely priced.
Sarvi, (1630 Hamilton), 5/1: burst back to form when an excellent 5l runaway winner here on very soft ground. Won’t have that today and struggled at Ayr last week. But she might just be a Hamilton lover – combine that with the best form on offer and he could bounce back potential.
