Tuesday Yankee: Stake Acclaim…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Dubai Acclaim, (1505 Beverley), 1pt win 7/2:

Won for us recently when we tipped him in the ex-jockeys legends race at Doncaster. The front two pulled away there and the runner-up has already won since. This looks another good opportunity and the 3lb weight rise looks generous. Has one of the best apprentices booked.

Kilbaha Lady, (1540 Beverley), 13/2: This filly was fourth last time behind Dubai Acclaim at Doncaster and will be hoping that horse flatters the form earlier. She is just a pound higher than when swooping to win here in May. She can get the better of Osmosis, a horse we like, but one whose wide draw may be insurmountable.

Dark Devil, (1715 Beverley), 13/2: ran very well here earlier in the season behind Kilbaha Lady. Has lost his form since, but the stable have had a number burst back to form recently. Young jockey Eireann Cagney looks very promising and is a big asset in this contest.

Rosy Ryan, (1745 Beverley), 5/2: veteran mare who goes well at this track. She won here last time and although this 10f trip is a rare venture beyond a mile, her last try at it was a hampered 5th in this race last year. This is a low quality affair and she can strike whilst the iron is hot.
