NAP OF THE DAY: Astrophysics, (1620 Musselburgh), 1pt win, 8/1:

We like Jeffrey Harris and he is well drawn again here, but for a horse who can be slowly away and has 1 win in 20 runs he looks very short in the market. In contrast, Astrophysics looks to be coming to the boil, handles any cut is also well drawn and looks too big a price.

My Ukelele, (1515 Musselburgh), 11/2: this 3yo filly has been in fine form all Summer. Has crept ever further up the weights, but her win last time at Ayr may have been a personal best. Raises her sights here a full two classes into Class 3, but has been priced accordingly and could be value.

I’m Available, (1535 Epsom), 11/4: ran impressively on soft turf earlier this year but flopped on a better surface at Royal Ascot. Hasn’t been seen since but that may have freshened her up after a busy Spring. This race looks a winnable opportunity, on ground she should relish and with champion elect Oisin Murphy doing the steering.

Dourado, (1715) Epsom, 5/1: used to love this track and loves a bit of cut. Hasn’t seen much racing this year but was alright in a decent Chelmsford race last time. The booking of this year’s outstanding new apprentice, Fallon, can only help
