European Golf: Amazing Arnaus…

The European Tour heads to Spain Thursday for the Open de Espana near Madrid.

The field assembled is a little disappointing, with only three members of the world’s top 50 in attendance. Two of these are the current Spanish greats, Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia. Rahm is the defending champion and Garcia has a great record in Spain, but these facts are reflected in their very short prices.

These two stars could walk away with the event, but Rahm missed the cut last week and Garcia has been very volatile this year. They are too short for us.

Instead we’re going to take a punt on another Spaniard, Adri Arnaus. He has finished second on three occasions this year, and we think a win is just around the corner.

Recommendation:

Arnaus 1 pt each way at 30/1, 1/4 the odds for the first five places, Ladbrokes
