Monday Yankee: Militia raid…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Militia, (1455 Musselburgh), 1pt win, 11/4:

Won really well in a big 17 runner event at Ayr recently.  Only up 5lbs and has a hugely helpful stand side draw.  Fahey and Hanagan have been in conspicuously good form and this should be another.

Ugo Gregory, (1350 Musselburgh), 7/2:  How Bizarre made all here last time, but his all or nothing style could run into a block with Ollivander who also likes to be up there.  That could set it up for Ugo Gregory, drawn in stall 2 so ideally placed to sit in the pocket behind the pace battle, and can earn his 7f Spurs atvthis easy track.

Tribal Warrior, (1530 Musselburgh), 5/2:  two from two when making the massive journey up from Newmarket.  Does so again on only his second run of the year, but that seasonal debut win here looks superb in hindsight and there is every chance he can maintain his unbeaten course record.

Catch My Breath, (1630 Musselburgh), 7/2:  broke his duck in his 9th race, but that was a first taste of this track.  Hasn’t been punished much for that and in Simon Walker he has just about the best amateur in the business doing the steering.
