Tuesday Yankee: Oh Boy…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  Sandy Boy, (1615 Exeter), 1pt win, 2/1:

Has been in great form this season, winning on reappearance before a fine close 2nd at Chepstow when clear of 14 other rivals.  Gets to run here off the same rating, and should pick up this prize with a fitness advantage on many of his rivals.

Sporting John, (1340 Exeter), 7/4:  an experience purchase from the Irish point field, but justifiably so as most of those that have run from his maiden point have won immediately after.  The vibes look strong for his powerful stable and it will be a disappointment if he can’t land this on his way to better things.

Janika,  (1410 Exeter), 7/2:  highly progressive chase last season who was unlucky to go close without picking up a. If prize.  This shorter trip is negated by the big galloping track and cut in the ground.  Has to lump top weight but could be classy enough to give weight to these rivals.

Orchardstown Cross, (1520 Exeter), 7/2:  finished last season in flying form and has been raised accordingly.  Has to prove himself now in higher class, but the stable had a good winner yesterday and his rivals here are mostly disappointing types.
