The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: Bold Approach, (1845 Dundalk), 1pt win, 7/2:
He had very useful 2yo form and dipped into handicaps this Autumn. His form has been mixed, but his 4th here in a good race last time was as good as any effort this season, and with the drop in class here he can get back to winning ways.
Strong Johnson, (1745 Dundalk), 4/1: only made his lifetime debut in August, but after three quick runs for a rating he has form of 132. Ran very well in a big field at Naas last time and still looks on a winning mark. Hasn’t tried this all-weather surface yet, but his full sister was a winner here so he should be able to cope.
Cache Queen, (1945 Dundalk), 7/4: in form filly whose figures since returning to this surface in September read 1322. The last two defeats have been by a nose and a head. She goes off much the same mark today and there doesn’t look much to be scared of in opposition.
Enchanted One, (2015 Dundalk), 3/1: already gelded as a 2yo, he made little impression in maidens and looked fairly rated on two nursery runs before switching to debut on this surface. Left his form behind with a staying in second then, has picked up a good draw, and his jockey claims a valuable 5lbs.
