Wednesday Yankee: Ripp a dee doo-dah….

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:   Ripp Orf, (1810 Kempton), 1pt win, 40/1:

We’ve gone down the Swanee with this fella a few times this year.  On his day he has a devastating turn of foot and although a long time since seeing the all weather he has form of 3422212 on the surface.  He looks too big a price,  yes he needs to find a stone on the beat of these, but he may well enjoy the surface and he is the type to Spring a big surprise.

Total Assets, (1430 Hexham), 4/1: won this marathon chase on soft ground last year off 106.  Ran well for 5th back here ok heavy in March and is handicapped to be close with favourite Misfits on that effort.  Has run in two runs this season and can edge out her old rival in what looks like a forecast.

Capel At Dawn, (1655 Dundalk), 3/1:  lightly raced filly who got a taste for this track when a reasonable 7th last time.  Now gets an opening mark of 70 which may be generous, especially in a low grade event where everything else is rated even lower.  Stable remains in good form, even more so in this type of event.

Katiymann, (1755 Dundalk), 4/1:  was a nap pick for us here last time when just getting going too late for a gallant second.  This looks like a winnable race and an ideal opportunity to atone.
