Sunday Yankee: Get a load of Bull…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:   Roaring Bull, (1430 Navan), 1pt each way (1st 6 with Paddy Power), 28/1:

He looked a promising novice on occasion last season with a fair fifth at Cheltenham and a good sixth in the Irish National.  Ran well on reappearance until getting tired late on and if stripping fitter could defy his big odds.

Designer Destiny, (1340 Uttoxeter), 15/8:   Went off 50/1 for a decent race on hurdles debut at Newbury and although only 5th of 9 she ran with noticeable promise.  Travelled smoothly that day against classy opposition and just tired very late on.  Can improve for the run and may find these shallower waters productive.

Goodtoknow, (1410 Uttoxeter), 2/1:  a veterans’ chase and this old boy looks very well in on a mark 20lbs below last year, and oddly 3lbs lower than when winning three outings ago.  Trainer and jockey are still buzzing from a big Cheltenham win and they can keep up the feel good factor here.

Mister Fogpatches, (1500 Navan), 11/1:    some easy last time out winners here but the handicapper has been pretty active in lumping on the extra weight.  Mister Fogpatches made his handicap debut last time and ran well for 2nd at Clonmel.  He looked there like a faster run race might help and he could get that here.  Looks a big price.
