Tuesday Yankee: Fantastic form to continue…

Kilconny Bridge (6/4 early, 10/11 SP) sauntered to victory at Plumpton yesterday to complete a hat-trick of naps, hopefully we can make that four at Southwell today…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Tis Fantastic, (1505 Southwell), 1pt win, 9/4:

French bred youngster who showed nothing in three maiden hurdles and earned a basement mark of 87. Ran a blinder then to be second of 17 at Chepstow on handicap debut and the form of that race is already working out well. He’s up 7lbs, but he earned at least that and looks likely to go one better here.

Katpoli, (1300 Southwell), 11/4: ran well on chasing debut and seasonal reappearance when 5th in a decent Chepstow handicap. Has a neck to find with favourite Vado Forte who had both fitness and chasing experience advantage that day. Katpoli only needs a fraction of improvement on that debut run to come out on top and that can be enough in a low grade affair.

Ruacana, (1415 Lingfield), 5/2: looking to complete a course and distance heavy ground hat-trick after winning easily here in November off 112 and 119. Up just 4lbs, his promising jockey claims 3 of those back, and for a veteran 10yo he remains over a stone below his historic high winning mark. Veteran rival Bonne Question is only 3lbs below his highest lifetime win and still looks to be paying for a sauntering win at Ffos Las last year.

Maypole Class, (1445 Lingfield), 11/4: Didn’t show much in two runs last year, but seems to have improved with a third at Uttoxeter hinting at better before an excellent handicap debut second at Chepstow. A 3lb rise is negated by trainer’s son Jonjo Jnr’s equivalent claim, and he looks well placed to break his duck.
