The early televised game today sees Aston Villa take on Leicester at Villa Park, and become the latest team to try and stop the incredible momentum behind the Foxes.
Leicester have won seven league games on the trot, and 11 in 13 matches. They possess the best defence in the league and are scoring for fun, a deadly combination.
That said, it won’t be easy today as Villa have only lost one of their last five home games, and that was against Liverpool in injury time.
It’s tempting to side with Jamie Vardy to score in this game – he is on an impressive run of scoring in his last seven league games – but he’s a very short price.
Instead we’ll side with Villa’s John McGinn to net anytime. He’s made a habit of scoring in big games, with goals versus Spurs and Arsenal already this season. And we’ll take him to net today as well.
The late game sees Brighton host Wolves on the south coast. The hosts come into this game fresh off a morale-boosting victory over Arsenal midweek and will be full of confidence as a result.
However, this Wolves side will also not be short in that department – they are unbeaten in 10 matches in the top flight, including five away games.
This is a tricky game to unravel, but we’ll side with the home team. We note that seven if Brighton’s last 10 goals have come from set pieces, and will thus take a punt on central defender Lewis Dunk to score. He has netted in two of his last four league games, at Old Trafford and Anfield. Maybe he can treat his home fans at a large price!
