NAP OF THE DAY: The Boola Bee, (1305 Doncaster), 1pt win, 7/2:
Loads of deadwood in this heat, and not many of these are proven over this trip and on likely testing going. The Boola Bee though is bang in form, mixing chasing and hurdling, stays really well and handles cut. She should land this.
Golden Sunset, (1315 Fairyhouse), 5/2: a poor race but Golden Sunset gets a huge weight pull with the in form Highest Benefit. Much the youngest of the main contenders he looks sure to go very well if he can put the jumping errors of his last performance behind him.
Eyes Right, (1350 Doncaster), 4/1: Promising mare who ran a really good race first time out at Newbury. Didn’t seem to handle quirky Fontwell last time but that has contributed to a very generous rating. This track is much more like Newbury and she can come right.
Beating The Odds, (1450 Fairyhouse), 15/2: Has raced at monster odds in maidens but hasn’t been beaten by the massive margins common in most Irish maiden hurdles. As such the handicapper may have been slightly kind with an opening mark of 93, and with the in form Trevor Ryan taking off 7lbs he is an interesting outsider.
