The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: NAP OF THE DAY: Endless Flight, (1630 Sandown), 1pt win, 6/1:
Won in superb fashion on handicap debut on this heavy ground at Exeter last time. Hard to assess that form but today’s card gives us a chance for multiple reward for similar risk as the runner up there contests today’s opener. If the form is good, and we are hopeful it is, we can be paid the multiple.
Flagrant Delitiep, (1320 Sandown), 13/2: Was made favourite for his handicap debut at Exeter last time but although beating the rest by miles he couldn’t get close to the impressive Endless Flight – our nap for today. This is therefore the chance to multiply that form risk by doubling the pair.
Cill Anna, (1425 Sandown), 7/4: typical of a Nicholls mare in that she seems to keep improving. She was at her best last time in very soft ground and those battling qualities will be essential here.
Catamaran Du Seuil, (1500 Sandown), 5/2: This time last year he was a 142 rated chaser competing at the Cheltenham Festival. His slide down to a mark of 130 only comes through poor performance, but he seems to be finding a level of late and is still the highest rated in this odd contest for serving military riders. The likely slower pace can play to his strengths and he should be too classy.
