The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: NAP OF THE DAY: Bank Holiday, (1530 Lingfield), 1pt win, 11/4:
Richard Fahey’s 3yo makes the long trip from Yorkshire after running really well on handicap debut at Wolves. Looks as though this trip should be ideal and he’s the best bet of the day.
Cheng Gong, (1330 Lingfield), 3/1: has been very consistent running to his rating without getting his head in front. This is a weak race and there are reasons to take on the two market leaders, it could be Cheng’s day.
Miss Elsa, (1400 Lingfield), 5/1: something of a risky call given her preferred run style to try and come from last to first. A good pace looks likely here which should help and her late burst can mug short priced favourite Tebay.
Critical Thinking, (1615 Lingfield), 5/1: all weather regular who can raise his game when he gets a strong pace to aim at. That looks certain with the favourites here both liking to go forward. If they duel in front they could set it up perfectly.
