It’s Tottenham’s turn in the Champions League in the round of 16 tonight, taking on RB Leipzig at home.
Spurs suffered a serious injury blow over the weekend, with Korean star Son being ruled out for the season with a fractured arm. This follows on from talisman striker Harry Kane also being struck down.
That said, their game over the weekend against Aston Villa tended to suggest that the team’s problems were more defensive than offensive. We’re not sure Spurs will win tonight, but fancy Dele Alli to score as he presses forward to compensate for their absences.
There is also an important Premier League match tonight, with Manchester City hosting West Ham.
City have had a tricky time of late. They trail leaders Liverpool by 25 points and look set to be kicked out of Europe.
Still, City couldn’t have asked for a better team to vent their frustrations. They are on a seven match winning streak in this fixture, scoring 23 goals in the process.
Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero is just one goal behind Jamie Vardy in the race for the Golden Boot. He has scored City’s last five league goals, and we think he’ll be incentivised to add to this run. We’ll take a punt that he scores a hat trick.
Recommendations:
Tottenham/Leipzig: Alli to score anytime, 5/2, Unibet
Man City/West Ham: Aguero to score a hat trick, 1 pt, at 7/1, SkyBet
