The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: Front View, (1525 Thurles), 1pt win, 5/2:
Classy bumper horse last season and is improving over hurdles with a fine win in a decent maiden at Cork last time. Jumps up in class here but looks good enough to cope with the down-in-class Assemble who flipped at Grade 1 level last time.
Equidae, (1420 Southwell), 9/4: was a fair second here last week and now has to turn the form around with winner Three C’s. We’d normally say a winner will keep winning, but the maths here is compelling with a whopping 9lb swing for under 2l making this Equidae’s to win if he can just repeat the effort.
Say The Word, (1441 Huntingdon), 8/1: has been gradually progressive in juvenile hurdles with a lifetime best here last time when staying on for third. Gets extra distance here and a healthy weight for age allowance and sneaks in at the. It Tom of the weights. Could be a market springer.
Mitchouka, (1445 Thurles), 11/4: ex of Gordon Elliott and a tricky ride. Ran a blinder to win in return from a layoff last time. Not one to wholly trust, but is reasonably well handicapped if having a going day. Still rates the more reliable do the market leaders with Kildorrey being a devilishly hard horse to win on.
