Tuesday Yankee: Believe in Lingfield filly…

Well we turned some profit on the sand yesterday, it’s not ideal prep for Cheltenham but we have to make do…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Believe in Love, (1430 Lingfield), 1pt win, 15/8:

Her top yard don’t run many through the winter, and her recent handicap debut was truly eye catching, going down by a rapidly diminishing margin having been hampered before finishing line the wind.  Any luck in running should see her home off just a 2lb higher mark.

The Jean Genie, (1500 Lingfield), 9/1:  doubts about the market leaders here could open the door for a shock.  The Jean Genie has some good form here, and if we ignore her finishing last and lame in December, and assuming that problem is resolved, she could spring the surprise on her best form of this time last year.

In Demand (1530 Lingfield), 11/8:  must be one of the lowest rated horses in his classy stable.  Poor horses make for poor luck, and this fella has had plenty of that of late, but this is a terrible race and surely he will finally be able to profit from a trouble free run.

Hamish Macbeth, (1600 Lingfield), 4/1:  a pair of joint favourites here who like to dominate.  That could set things up for Hugo Palmer’s handy young sprinter Hamish Macbeth who should be fit enough having been sent over to Doha I. December.  He ran well there and should appreciate this lower class race.
